You may find us here on the run up to Christmas as we share an annual Carol Service with Donaghadee Rotary Club, and any proceeds help to buy a ‘Shelter Box’ for those in need anywhere in the world.
Practice, Practice, Practice and yes, we did get there. A wonderful experience with many other voices and a solo spot for each choir.

The choir were guests of one its members getting married here (Maybe to give moral support!).

A strange location but worthwhile, as we visited this museum of the old gasworks for a concert – Small but very enjoyable.
Practice, practice, practice took us to Carnegie Hall, where we shared the stage with the Welsh bass-baritone Bryn Terfel.
This Celtic Celebration also included the Burlington Welsh Male Voice Choir and the Toronto Welsh Male Voice Choir.
An impromptu performance to take advantage of the wonderful acoustics – Well received by the visitors and staff.
Donaghadee Male Voice Choir joined with Tart McNeil – Harpist and the Kloverdam Ladies Choir from Norway for a concert in support of the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children. On Friday 11th September 2009.

DMVC were privileged to sing at a wedding here in Tyrone and the bride danced her way out while the choir sang ‘This Little Light of Mine’.

We were invited to take part in a Remembrance Day Service before attending at the war graves cemetery.

Donaghadee Male Voice Choir were privileged to join The Glasgow Phoenix Choir at their Diamond Jubilee Celebrations on the 1st April 2011
Such a lovely little church with very good acoustics where the choir recorded pieces for a CD ‘Magic Moments’ – Returned a couple of years later to sing at a wedding.
The choir did very well on several occasions at this festival including 1st place in the male voice sections on each of these visits.
An added bonus to be able to sing in this wonderful Cathedral as well as Carnegie Hall in the same trip.

Donaghadee Male Voice Choir sang here as part of the International Choral Competition for choirs of 41 voices and over.
The choir took first place in the male voice section in 1972 and 1973, competed again in 2014 and won the best in the Sacred section. That year we went on to enjoy a wonderful visit with our long-standing friends, The Barnburgh Ladies Singers.
Donaghadee Male Voice Choir have performed here many times over the years in support of charities and to hold annual concerts. Our most memorable event was a memorial concert in October 2016 for our musical director, Robert Wilson MBE, who served 47 years with Donaghadee Male Voice Choir and took them to many successes throughout these Islands, USA, Canada and Europe. We were joined by many friends with associations with the choir and Robert to enjoy the music and reflect on his achievements with the choir over these years.

The choir was able to sing two pieces (Security liked what they heard and let us carry on!) in the arena and experience the wonderful acoustics.
