These photographs depict the choir in the beautiful grounds of the Cistercian ‘Grey Abbey’ on the Ards peninsula, County Down approx nine miles from the choir’s home town of Donaghadee. A lovely quiet corner of Northern Ireland with fishing villages dotted along the coastline of the Irish sea and easy access to Belfast. We see the choir singing in the Postojna Cave, Slovenia 2018, and while visiting Perpignan in 2015.
The most recent photographs show the choir with increasing new members, and under the direction of Emma Morgan Wilson, MD, achieving first place in the Male Voice Choir section of the competition in Bangor, Co. Down, 2025. Supported as always by our President, Lady Sylvia Hermon, at Bangor International Choral Festival.
The Donaghadee Male Voice Choir has been in existence since 1932 and currently boasts over 57 members.
DONAGHADEE MALE VOICE CHOIR

We welcome prospective new members to come along, meet our members and conductor, sit in and listen, or join in and sing with us as you see fit.
You don’t need to read music or be a Pavarotti!!
So, if you would like to get an idea of what it’s like to be a member of a male voice choir, come along and give it a try. You will be most welcome.
Donaghadee Male Voice Choir was founded in 1932. We own our practice hall and perform locally and abroad.
